KI’s Public Interest Litigation Unit (PIL) is responsible for litigating Constitutional cases that KI is involved in. The Unit is led by a Litigation Director.

MELS provide pro-bono legal consultation services on environmental and resources laws to communities and CSOs members.

The NCHRD-U has a protection fund which among others provides emergency legal services to Human Rights Defenders at risk that need urgent legal support which includes bail, bond, mediation, follow ups and verification of any legal issues, legal representation f
